Course Highlights
- Produce TV News on regular basis

- Facilities sin the campus: Equipped with Television studio, editing suites and a computer lab to give hands-on experience in videography, editing and production of TV programmes

Journalism began as a print media and remained as such until the invention of radio and television in the 20th century. Journalism that provides information over radio, television – and now, the Internet – is known as broadcast journalism.
Duration: 10 months ( 3 trimester) Full time
Prerequisite: Graduate in any subject, Candidates awaiting degree results may also apply.
Mode of Selection: Written Test and Interview
MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION
The medium of instruction will be English. However, a limited number of seats will be available for students who are also proficient in Malayalam and intend to pursue a career in Malayalam journalism.
DATE OF COMMENCEMENT for the academic year 2016-17
PG Diploma in Journalism will begin in July 2016
PG Diploma in Broadcast Journalism will begin in September 2016
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants to the courses must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised university. Students who have appeared in their final examination may also apply. However, they will have to furnish adequate proof of graduation for their admission to be regularised.
