WHY OUR STUDENTS LACKS THESE SKILLS

The curriculum used by the education sector in our country to transact educational objectives has no space to include the essential soft skills mentioned above. So the students won't get any chance to develop these skills in their academic career. Moreover these skills can be developed only through continuous practice.

In the school / college there is no time or facilities to develop these skills..

PRESENT SCENARIO IN THE JOB MARKET

At Present there are so many Job vacancies in Industries and other areas for want of appropriate candidates with employable skills. At the same time there are so many candidates seeking for the same job after completing their academic studies. The situation is that academically qualified candidates are not employable.

Even the first rank holders in Academic Studies, fail in the interviews for Civil Service and in interviews conducted for Professional jobs.

This situation has to be changed. How?

SKILL ACQUISITION AND INTEGRATED LEARNING [SAIL]

There should be a system to create employability in students undergoing academic courses. And this system should go parallel to the Academic Studies. This thought has given rise to Skill Acquisition And Integrated Learning (SAIL)
