2048 is a sliding-tile puzzle game. It is normally played on a 4 × 4 grid, which contains 16 spaces. At the beginning, a few numbered tiles appear on the board. Most tiles contain the numbers 2 or 4. When you move the tiles, matching numbers can join together. For example, two 2 tiles can become a 4, and two 4 tiles can become an 8. The game 2048 continues as you combine tiles and create larger numbers. The ultimate goal is to create the 2048 tile.
