Master of Science in Agroforestry is a postgraduate Agriculture Science and Technology course. Agroforestry refers that it is an integrated approach of using the interactive benefits from combining trees and shrubs with crops and livestock. It combines agricultural and forestry technologies to create more diverse, productive, profitable, healthy and sustainable land-use systems. The duration of Master of Science in Agroforestry is two years and the syllabus is divided into major, minor, core and optional courses and it is also career orienting in nature.
M.Sc. Agroforestry Eligibility
They have passed the Four Year B.Sc. (Agri.)/three year B.Sc./Environmental Science examination of the University or an equivalent examination recognized by the University.
Second, who have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate under the traditional system or an OGPA of 2.5/4, 3.5/5, 4.0/6 and 6.5/10 under the course credit system can go for it.
Applicants who have secured more than one (1) 3 division or equivalent OGPA (Overall Grade Point Average) in their academic career shall not be eligible to appear in the entrance examination.
Candidates appearing at the respective qualifying examinations shall be eligible to the entrance examination but shall have to provide the proof of their passing the said examination as and when called for, prior to their admission.
