PRESENT SCENARIO IN THE JOB MARKET
At Present there are so many Job vacancies in Industries and other areas for want of appropriate candidates with employable skills. At the same time there are so many candidates seeking for the same job after completing their academic studies. The situation is that academically qualified candidates are not employable.

SKILL ACQUISITION AND INTEGRATED LEARNING [SAIL]
There should be a system to create employability in students undergoing academic courses. And this system should go parallel to the Academic Studies. This thought has given rise to Skill Acquisition And Integrated Learning (SAIL)
Skill Acquisition And Integrated Learning (SAIL) is a System developed by National Skill India Mission (Nsim), to develop employability in candidates, along with their academic studies, through a set of skills. Employability skills are a set of skills and behaviors that are necessary for every job.
As a responsible educational research organization , National Skill India Mission 's dream is to give the best possible education to the students to attain the above said skills .
National Skill India Mission Developed a unique programme called Skill Acquisition and Integrated Learning [SAIL] , which is a 60 hour long training programme based on job related training. Through this programme the student can select a job as the medium to develop the soft skills.
More than 1000 Job role training are available in SAIL ..
OUR ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
At National Skill India Mission's SAIL class , students will be expected to master the core skills as well as the soft skills , through a series of continuous and comprehensive assessment tests , remedial lessons and monitoring systems.Through SAIL class , students will collaborate, communicate, think, experiment and reflect throughout the day.The skills developed through SAIL includes the ability to think critically , innovatively and analytically.
It also involves the ability to apply knowledge and understanding in different situations.
For ' Education for Sustainable Development " [ESD] to be successful , it must give students practical skills that will enable them to continue learning after they leave school to have a sustainable livelihood and to live sustainable lives. The critical thinking skills , skills to organize and interpret data and information , skills to formulate questions and the ability to analysis issues that confront communities are greatly addressed in the meticulously designed job training of National skill India Mission.
SAIL helps the student to be independent and self- regulated in learning as well as acquiring skills and new knowledge , through the activities designed for the job training. Besides this , students are also expected to develop an inquisitive mind and crave for knowledge through presentations lessons of SAIL.
