B.Voc in Electrocardiography & Cardiac Technology

Stories you may like

Electrocardiography is a noninvasive procedure for recording electrical changes in the heart. The record, is known as electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG), shows the series of waves that relate to the electrical impulses that occur during each beat of the heart. Cardiac Technology is also an allied course in medicine. Cardiac Technologists assist physicians throughout the invasive cardiovascular testing; a tube is inserted into one of the blood vessels that carry blood into the heart.

The job of a technician is to perform tasks that require less medical training before and during the procedure so doctors can focus on the results of the test.
