Multimedia is content that uses a blend of various content forms such as content, audio, images, animations, video and intelligent content. Multimedia contrasts with media that use only elemental computer displays such as content just or customary forms of printed or hand-delivered material. Multimedia can be recorded and played, displayed, communicated with or accessed by information content processing gadgets, for example, modernized and electronic gadgets, and can likewise be a piece of a live presentation. Multimedia devices are electronic media devices used to store and experience multimedia content. Multimedia is recognized from blended media in artistic work.


Eligibility Criteria for B. Voc in Multimedia

  • Students who have completed plus two are eligible to get admission in the B. Voc in Multimedia course generally.

  • Students who have qualified SSLC and completed one year of BSS Honors Diploma in Multimedia Programme are eligible to get admission in first year of the B. Voc in Multimedia course. (first semester).

  • Students who have completed Plus Two and one year BSS Honors Diploma in Multimedia Programme are eligible to get direct admission to the second year of the B. Voc in Multimedia course. (third semester).


Course Duration

  • Three years for those who enter into the course generally.

  • Candidates who have completed relevant and equivalent course are possible to get admission through lateral entry scheme (For further reference check Eligibility criteria section).


Job Duties

  • Provide multimedia design support to the client's requirement

  • Create an exciting, engaging, and interactive online experience

  • Take brief from clients to prepare the design

  • Create visual solutions through the use of specialized and latest technologies

  • Brainstorm and mock-up design ideas with cross functional team (including artists, web developers, animators, programmers, etc.)

  • Present the framework design/s to the client with description of the idea meant to be communicated

  • Make necessary changes in line with the clients demand and the project objectives

  • Be flexible to make changes as required by the client or individual project objectives

  • Proofread and check the quality of the graphic work before they go for final printing

  • Complete the project successfully through independent as well as team effort

  • Estimate the project budget and timeline

  • Complete project keeping the deadline and budget in mind
