B.voc in Medical Equipment Technology offers skills which are needed in maintaining and repairing medical equipment in a healthcare setting. It also provides necessary scientific and electronic knowledge apart from hands-on lab experience on the equipment.  Students get exposed to standard tools such as electronic devices, millimeters, processors and repair medical equipment.

Eligibility Criteria for B. Voc in Medical Equipment Technology

 Students who have completed plus two are eligible to get admission in the B.Voc course.

Lateral Entries

• Those who have qualified SSLC and completed one year of certificate course in Medical Equipment Technician are eligible to get admission in the B.Voc course.

• Students who have completed plus two and one year of certificate course in Medical Equipment Technician are eligible to get direct admission to the second year of B. Voc course (3^rd  semester).

Course Duration

• Three years for those who enter into the course generally.

• Candidates who have completed BSS certificate course in Medical Equipment Technician get admission through lateral entry scheme (For further reference check Eligibility criteria section).

Job Features

• Trainees will be exposed to the working at repair and maintenance centers in various hospitals. 

• Demonstration of working X-ray Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging System and Nuclear Medical Imaging Systems is carried out in Multi-Specialty hospital.  

• Visits to Public and Private Multi-Specialty hospitals.  

• Interactive sessions, lectures and discussion of the trainees with expert Bio-medical and clinical engineers.
