Cardiovascular Technologists help doctors in diagnosing and treating cardiac (heart) and peripheral vascular (blood vessel) conditions preparing patients for open-heart surgery embedding pacemakers and checking patients during performing cardiovascular pressure tests. With the use of cardiovascular techniques the unpredictable pulses and various complex cardiac disorders can be discovered. During cardiovascular testing, a tube is embedded into one of the arteries that conveys blood into the heart. The job of a technician is to perform tasks that require less medical training. Cardiovascular technologies, such as electrocardiograms and cardiac stress tests, are typically regulated by individuals who have explicitly prepared for vocations in this field. From the course the students can learn how to test patients and take care of those who have heart related disease. Students will learn to use and maintain medical equipment and machines used in this field. A B.Voc degree in this discipline demands great analytical aptitudes and the capacity to work freely. Those students who are interested to learn and apply aspects of technology used in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases can apply for this course.
